The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor resource (approx. 12 months) to assist with the development and implementation of NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) using Cúram Software. This resource will have significant delivery responsibilities as part of NC FAST development and will work closely with Senior Technical Consultants on design and development. The selected candidate may act in the role of senior technical developer. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

Leading design requirements development, code development, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, functional design, and life cycle management for the implementation of NC FAST

Reporting statuses to the NC FAST Project Manager

Adhering to DHHS policies and procedures.

Areas of focus will include:

Extension development

Business and workflow process modeling

Business re-engineering using Cúram. 

These activities will involve the use of:

COTS Cúram Enterprise Framework Components

Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2)

Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT)

Oracle

XML technology in Cúram

Cúram Evidence Framework

Subversion, and WebSphere

 
Required:
* Minimum 3 yrs of Java development experience
* Experience in Java development using a SDLC and source control 
* Experience in problem identification and integration of technical skills to address and solve issues
* Extensive technical knowledge in the following specialized areas of web application system analysis and programming: Java, J2SE, J2EE, Eclipse, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Web Services, XML, XSL, SOAP and WSDL.

Preferred:
* Senior Java Developer 
* Experience as a Cúram Developer with experience in the full life cycle of requirements through functional design and testing 
* Experience with Cúram public facing solutions for screening, reception management requirements, and intake requirements and mapping these areas to Cúram solution modules 
* Experience in development with both the Cúram Enterprise Framework and Cúram Solution Modules 
* Cúram Certified Developer in Cúram V5.2
* Experience with Cúram V6
* IBM Websphere 
* JavaScript
* Oracle
