Complete Description:

Under limited supervision is responsible for development, enhancement, and implementation,

of security systems.

•

The person in this position performs highly advanced technical support for the

department's information security program.

Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Office this position will assist

with the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of security systems.

This person will be responsible for the day to day support and upkeep of the

department’s security applications on an as needed basis.

The individual will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these

systems is maintained.

The person in this position will assist with the design and maintenance of the

department's firewalls.

This person will also consult with development teams and provide recommendations to

maintain a secure computing environment to the CISO.

This position will work with the CISO on disaster recovery initiatives ensuring the

security and integrity of data, data systems, and data networks across the entire

department is maintained.

This includes designing and implementing disaster recovery processes and business

continuity procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems in

the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic.

This person will also perform and analyze disaster simulations for the prompt

restoration of services, and conduct security audits where required.

Required skills :

Previous experience in a consulting or lead role required

Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls required

In-depth knowledge of PC operations, and PC encryption

Hands-on experience in developing DR plans.
