PROGRAMMERS (ARCGIS SERVER DEVELOPMENT, WEBSITE AND APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, DBA SKILLS REQUIRED, USER INTERFACE DESIGN, ANALYSIS, VISUALIZATION, REPORTING EXPERIENCE)

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

These contractors will work closely with the Director of the Division of Public Health Informatics to identify and prioritize work-load and scheduling. This person will also work closely in a technical capacity with technical and program area staff in various areas to complete this project. The technical skills required for this position are outlined in the Beeline System. Each position will be utilized somewhere between 20 to 60 hours per week for the duration of this project. Prior Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT), South Carolina Community Assessment Network (SCAN) and Birth Data Exchange Engine (BEE) development experience, while not required, will be weighted heavily. This project will further enhance the current SCAN web-based data query system by continuing the next phase of development work on the new Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) module and integrating and upgrading all current SCAN modules based on any new development efforts. Additional work on existing BEE system to address new module and grant requirements will be a central focus of this project. Leveraging the agency’s ArcGIS Server investment and the migration to .NET and routine .NET upgrades are also central. Additional maintenance and upgrade work on existing agency web pages will also be a minor component of this project.
