Conducts and directs the analysis of complex business problems to be solved when implementing an automated system. Provides analytical and technical assistance in requirements gathering; gap analysis; and identifying, evaluating, and developing processes to meet user requirements. The Business Analyst/Consultant functions as a liaison between the business and technical communities to effectively translate business strategies into technical requirements.  The Business Analyst/Consultant leads cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues and provide consultation. The Business Analyst/Consultant needs to be familiar with techniques for organizational design, process improvement, technology assimilation, organizational change, and process modeling. This role must identify opportunities for improving business processes, and organizational design. 

Additionally, this position requires knowledge and experience with the following:  

State of Michigan, Liquor control experience is preferred
