Job Description:

The Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) is seeking a short term contractor position (approx. 6 month) assignment. The selected candidate will work in the capacity of Sr MS Windows System Admin to support distributing hosting in an Enterprise environment with multiple lines of business. Admin will support infrastructure, hardware, OS and other related activities. Lines of business include Museums, Archives, Web sites; Admin will assist developers with upgrades, architecture and other project needs.  

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Required Skills:

            • Minimum of three (3) years experience in an Enterprise environment hosting servers in datacenter operations
            • AD GPO experience

            • DHCP, DNS, system level backup and restore experience

            • Effective communication with multiple customer tiers

Preferred
            • VMWare experience
            • Project tech lead experience
            • Netbackup
            • Scripting knowledge.
