DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within project schedules and other defined deadlines, candidate will provide functional and technical services including:

•     Install, configure, tune and administer SAP BusinessObjects(BOBJ)

Data Services

•     Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, document and support

(full SDLC) of Data Integrator processes to extract data from existing operational source systems, transforming it, and loading data warehouse tables and tactical operational data stores.

•     Sources will include relation, VSAM and non-traditional resources

such as flat files

•     Participate with management to develop implementation and

maintenance strategies, processes, procedures and best practices for integration processes

•     Review and help refine Hardware specifications, current landscape

and implementation roadmap

•     Develop and execute unit, system and user acceptance test plans

•     Provide technical knowledge transfer via paired programming, peer

coaching, and written documentation.

•     Provide effective and timely oral and written communications to

management, peers and users

•     Identification and escalation of issues and risks to management in a

timely manner

 

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

•     3+ years of experience in building complex extract, transformation

and load (ETL) processes with BOBJData Integrator

•     Experienced in full lifecycle ETL processes including analysis,

design, development, testing, implementation, training and support

•     Experienced with Data Quality components of BOBJ Data Services

•     Experienced with installation and configuration of BOBJ Data

Services software

•     Experienced in data warehouse development and delivery

•     Able to interpret business requirements, develop technical specs and

test processes to meet requirements

•     Able to formulate technical resolutions to business issues

•     Problem-solving, troubleshooting skills

•     Work closely with others in a team environment

•     Able to work independently, self-motivated

•     Excellent communication skills; fluent in English     PREFERRED SKILLS

(RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

•     Experience with Attunity add-on to BOBJ Data Integrator

•     Experience in technical architecting

•     Experience with dimensional modeling

•     Experience with BOBJ Universe Designer, WebIntelligence, Xcelsius

and/or Crystal Reports

•     MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Visio, Project)

•     Project Management experience
