Direct client requirement for State of SC - IN4056-1 - PeopleSoft FMS consultant with commitment control, GL, Purchasing, AP, AR, Billing, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, XML Publisher, SQR, Data Mover, Query, Crystal

Contractor Knowledge and Skills

The contractor must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a field of study related to computing, mathematics, or business and at least six years of experience with the PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials suite of applications and the PeopleTools suite of tools.  The contractor must have proven experience and expertise with the following:

 

     FMS 9.0 modules: Commitment Control, General Ledger, Purchasing,

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing.

     PeopleTools 8.49 suite of tools including but not limited to

PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, XML Publisher, SQR, Data Mover, and Query, Crystal reports, and nVision reports.

 

Work Tasks

Clemson University seeks consulting assistance for the Accounts Payable module version 9.0.

 

The consulting engagement will have three phases:

     Application Software Review

     Recommendations

     Implementation Assistance

 

Application Software Review

     Audit reports and consistency of them running and returning results

     Voucher Build configuration and usage

     PO Rollover process and best practice in keeping the ledgers in

synch during fiscal year-end close

     Combining pay cycles to streamline processing

 

In the Recommendations phase, the contractor will prepare a written summary for Clemson University that documents review findings, recommendations, and perceived outcomes.

     The document will address the following:

o     Validation of the current setup;

o     Identify necessary changes for optimum performance/issue resolution;

     The contractor will present this document to the Clemson team.

 

Lastly, in the Implementation Assistance phase, the contractor will provide assistance as needed in implementing any of the recommendations that the Clemson team chooses to pursue.
