Candidates for this position should have relevent CDLIS and PDPS experience along with a working knowledge of the SCDMV driving credential issuance system. An understandng of the real-id names standards are required. !

 

Job Description:

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities. Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.

Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.

Educates

the IT organization on the direction of the business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. May make recommendations for buy versus build decision.

The person selected for this role will be the lead BPR for the CDLIS Modernization Name Standard's project and is responsible for doing an impact analysis and possible tool selection to facilitate this project.

 

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING A DETAILED ANALYSIS OF THE CDLIS MODERNIZATION  PROJECT ENHANCEMENTS FOR THE PHOENIX APPLICATION WITH THE END RESULT A BUSINESS SPECIFICATIONS DOCUMENT OUTLINING THE CHANGES TO BOTH THE PHOENIX APPLICATION AND BUSINESS PROCESS AREAS. ADDITIONAL DUTIES INCLUDE CONDUCTING MEETINGS WITH BOTH TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS SCDMV RESOURCES AND WHERE REQUIRED MEETING WITH THIRD PARTIES, SUCH AS AAMVANET, TO DETERMINE THE SCOPE OF THE WORK AND POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS SUCH AS SOFTWARE UPGRADES, ETC. COMMUNICATIONS TO SCDMV MANAGEMENT AND TEAM MEMBERS ON THE STATUS OF THIS PROJECT IS REQUIRED.

KNOWLEDGE OF SCDMV CREDENTIAL ISSUANCE PROCESS, DETAILED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH CDLIS/PDPS/SSA, EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS, ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND FEDERAL REQUIRMENTS AS RELATED TO THIS PROJECT

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Both business and IT development staff will be interviewing the candidates. In person interview may be required and no expenses will be paid.
