knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

REQUIRED: • Advanced experience with enterprise and data center deployments using Cisco ASA firewalls. • Proficient operational support of Cisco ASA firewalls in an enterprise and data center environment. • Currently active CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional) certification, or expiration within past 1 year. • Moderate familiarity with all network technologies and equipment, particularly data center LAN environments. • Experience with structured change management processes. • Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules. • Must have good organizational and English communication skills, written and oral. • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. • Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills. • Willingness to work overtime as needed. • Willingness to accommodate occasional regional travel. PREFERRED: Experience with: • Avaya (Nortel) LAN switching products. • Exchange Email and Calendar with Outlook client Experience in a DOT or Government environment Currently active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) Security certification, or expiration within past 2 years.

Other Requirements:

The vendor must notify the Agency if any portion of the requirements listed in this Task Order are to be outsourced to other countries.   Include this information in your Task Order response. .  - State does not reimburse for commuting expenses or relocation expenses for anyone. Parking/travel expenses to/from main site & Selected candidate must: within Raleigh area to be in hourly rate. - Reimbursements for expenses for work at sites outside of main site in accordance with NCDOT travel policy.
