Title: IN001093 -- Lead GEMS SharePoint Developer

 

Duration: 3 - 4 month

Location: Raleigh NC

 

This assignment will include:
Management framework utilizing SharePoint alternative access mapping services. This approach would
provide forms-based authentication externally and Windows A.D. authentication internally. The extranet
solution that runs on top of this framework is a custom grant management application consisting of
application forms, multi-part workflows and integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM via web services and
SQL.
Minor mentoring of custom application development in SharePoint is requested to help Senior ASP.Net
developers get up to speed quickly. Candidate will work with these developers and a SharePoint designer
to complete the initial grant application deliverable.
The team will utilize the Agile SCRUM process (Stories have already been created and the Sprint Backlog
tasks have been developed for many of the features).

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

A college graduate possessing 5-7 years of work experience
• Experience in SharePoint MOSS 2007 environment with forms-based authentication, developing
advanced custom webparts and custom application pages, and content management and publishing
• Experience in SharePoint MOSS 2007 designer is a major plus
• Experience building public corporate websites and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint MOSS
2007
• Experience with designing and deploying public-facing websites – Internet, Extranet
• Demonstrated experience developing web sites using the latest technology, for example, Dynamic HTML
and JavaScript required
• Experience converting existing content, sites, services into SharePoint 2007
• Knowledge of .Net C# & object oriented design concepts
• Experience with Agile (SCRUM) is a major plus
• Experience with ASP.NET website development
• Knowledge of relational database development concepts
• Understands taxonomies, navigation principles and corporate portal design best practices
• Meets project deadlines and likes working in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Communicates with both technical and non-technical staff to support analysis, design, testing, and
troubleshooting of project issues as related to usability and design
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle
internal clients with tact and diplomacy, and maintain composure and production quality under deadline
pressure
• Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills
