this is a 10-week contract to add features to an existing ruby on rails site and incorporate changes requested by the client. the site also needs to be upgraded from rails 2.3.5 to rails 3.

 ruby coding, using rails, testing, legacy data conversion, providing daily status updates to team, Presence on our internal IM system during work hours

 

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance): ruby, rails, git, mysql, RSPEC, excellent oral and written communication skills, test-driven development

 

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance): shoulda, cucumber, linux, command line, jquery,  haml, sass
