IN088 - Programmer Analyst III-Sr. Microsoft.NET Integration Lead Developers

MANDATORY Requirements:

• Reverse engineer and understand the existing codebase developed in .NET 1.0 and 1.1

• Work with the SESIS product team to understand the critical integration points

• Analyze business users’ needs to design, construct, and test the enhancements to existing systems

• Document the technical specifications and work with the SESIS PM to drive acceptance of the same

• Design and build integration components using industry standard design patterns with an eye to reusability

• Coordinate changes to the DOE data systems as required for either interim migration and/or ongoing integration

• Provide weekly updates to the DOE WS Lead and IT PM for assigned activities

• Escalate critical technical issues and potential problems as needed to the SESIS Project Manager to address any SESIS related issues in advance of deadlines

Required Skills

• 8+ years relevant experience in the design, development, implementation, and integration of large-scale, enterprise systems

• Expert-level experience with .NET(1.0 to 3.5) technologies, including C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET

• Development experience with Microsoft Speech Server 2002 (IVR) highly desirable

• Experience with SOA, ESB, Web Services, WSDL, XML

• Systems integration experience with Web Services and .NET Remoting

• Experience with standard development processes such as RUP, agile development, and test driven approach to development

• Certification (.NET) required - MCTS, MCSD, MCAD

• Demonstrated passion for technology and the ability/desire to inspire, guide, and mentor others

• Outstanding verbal and written skills

• Prior experience working on large IT vendor supplied COTS deployment projects for the Education or Government preferred.
