IN079 - Procurement/Contracts specialist with Budget, contracts, finance admin, MS Office, bid writing, negotiation, and Government experience

Location: Brooklyn NY
Positions: 4
Duration: 18 months

MANDATORY Requirements:

§  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent diploma in relevant administrative field required.

§  Two (2) years relevant experience in at least one of the following: Budget, IT Hardware & Software Contracts, IT Services Contracts, Telecommunication Contracts or Finance Administration in complex public sector with IT environment, preferably in Government Agencies ((Federal, State or City).

§  One (1) year experience in MS-Office Suite – MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook.

§  Two (2) years experience in writing Project Deliverables Bid Specifications.

§  Two (2) years experience in conducting negotiations with Vendors, and  coordinating with end-users

DESIRABLE Experience Listed in order of importance: §  Demonstrated experience in the design, development and use of procedure manuals, process documentation and policy analysis.

§  Working knowledge of various IT/Telecomm Products and services.

§  Strong knowledge of Capital/Expense Budget procedures.

§  Prior relevant experience in performing similar tasks and duties with Government (Federal, State or City) Social Services Agencies, including services with HRA, in complex IT environment is preferable.

§  Knowledge of City’s Procurement process and rules.
